The International U13 Tournament is without a doubt one of the most prestigious tournaments in Belgium.
Because of the high quality organisation in the past 15 years, we were able to build up a solid reputation towards all the Belgian top teams.
Also the foreign teams, which often have a rich tradition in tournament participations, have all praised the impeccable organisation and have named our tournament as one of the best in Europe. Our tournament is rightfully called the "Champions League" of the U13!

15th Edition of the International U13 Tournament brings top teams to Bassevelde
The 15th anniversary edition of the International U13 Tournament presents an absolutely cracking list of participants. None other than THE European topclub will be coming to Bassevelde on the 29th and 30th of May 2010: FC Barcelona!!!
The organisation has been trying for years to get the Spanish giants to participate and finally we have succeeded! We are very proud that besides Barcelona, teams from 5 other countries will be present at the tournament.
From Germany comes Bayer Leverkusen, known worldwide for their excellent youth academy. From France comes Lille, the club with one of the best football academies in Europe. The Scots from Celtic Glasgow are as always very welcome in Bassevelde. From the Netherlands this years will be participating Ajax Amsterdam, national champions AZ Alkmaar and again, after a few years absence, Feyenoord Rotterdam.
All Belgian top teams will again be present. Next to good old Anderlecht, Club Brugge and Lokeren, we were able to convince Standard Liege to come to our tournament. And of course the U13 team of Bassevelde will be playing at their own tournament.
6 different countries and a fantastic team like Barcelona present, this means a lot of quality youth football will again be seen in Bassevelde during the final weekend of May 2010!
